About the Event
Women have long had a leading role in the impact investing market. Research suggests that a high percentage of women are drawn to investments with social and environmental impact. For example, a Morgan Stanley study found that 84% of women versus 67% of men indicated an interest in sustainable investing. Many women have also assumed significant leadership roles across the impact investing world. That includes spearheading and guiding efforts in everything from impact measurement and gender-lens investing to academic research and government policy. In some cases, they have moved among different sectors within impact investing.
This month, we are focusing on the women emerging —as impact investors who are investing in a way that benefits women—whether that’s putting their money into women-led businesses or prioritizing investments with companies that have greater gender diversity.
Join us this Thursday, May 27th from 5-6:30pm to learn why women are leading the way to impact investing and why they tend to outperform men in generating a return on their investments.
