Celebrating everyday wins, will help you achieve the big wins in the long run.

— Cynthia Hellen, Founder of Winning Women Series

Our Mission

Winning Women Series, is a community on a mission ambitious women develop an entrepreneur mindset one small win at a time.

We encourage women to acknowledge & accept the everyday wins as stepping stones to creating ultimate impact & sustainable change. Everyday wins in life are big motivators. Learning to recognize them for what they are is a benefit that can help us to overcome frustration, setback and disappointments.

From the simplest wins to the biggest ones, giving yourself a pat on the back will motivate you to keep going.

Our History

Winning Women Series is the vision of Cynthia Hellen, an accomplished social entrepreneur, technologist and an event producer in New York City. While volunteering as the NY Chapter Leader at Young Women Social Entrepreneurs, Hellen’s realized there wasn’t a focus on small wins. How did these successful artists, creators, entrepreneurs, scientists and Changemakers, reach their dreams? Way before they were somebody, they were taking small steps towards their goals.

In spring 2017, Hellen co-founded the Winning Women Series was launched in collaboration with M.Gemi. The Winning Women Series to date has collaborated with Tribeca Venture Partners, Spotify, HuffPost, and Microsoft. In 2020, "My Health Matters" virtual summit was launched to support the growing community of young female physicians who were eager to provide communities with health resources during COVID19.

"I am a student of Global Health, a woman, and Black. I’ve dubbed myself #globalhealthmo and have been working on making my dreams reality. It’s really important to me that I’m knowledgeable on current health issues in my community, and in a space to share what I know. To broaden my network, I searched the hashtag epidemiologist on Instagram and somehow stumbled upon the My Health Matters Summit hosted by Winning Women Series. I was so excited to see the topics they planned to cover, and watched for the whole six hours. The conversations were genuine and informative. I have never been so inspired, and motivated to keep pushing in my studies. Those women were amazing, and I hope to be in their ranks soon."
