Celebrating everyday wins, will help you achieve the big wins in the long run.

— Cynthia Hellen, Founder of Winning Women Series

Our Mission

Welcome to Winning Women Series, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and achieve their goals one small win at a time.

Our mission is to provide women with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives. We believe that by encouraging a growth mindset and providing access to mentorship, education, and community, we can help women achieve their full potential and create a positive impact in their communities.

At Winning Women Series, we offer a range of programs and services to support women on their journey towards success. From our online community to our in-person events, we provide opportunities for women to connect, learn, and grow together.

Our online community is a safe and supportive space where women can share their experiences, ask for advice, and offer support to one another. We also offer educational resources and workshops to help women develop the skills they need to succeed in their chosen fields.

In addition, we provide mentorship opportunities, connecting women with successful entrepreneurs and business leaders who can offer guidance and support on their journey. Through these mentorship relationships, women can gain valuable insights and advice that can help them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

We believe that small wins lead to big successes, and we are committed to celebrating every step of our members' journeys. Whether it's launching a new business, getting a promotion, or achieving a personal goal, we are here to cheer on our members and provide the support they need to keep going.

Join us today and become part of a community of winning women who are committed to achieving their goals and making a positive impact in the world.

Together, we can cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and create a brighter future for ourselves and our communities.

Our History

Winning Women Series is the brainchild of Cynthia Hellen, a renowned social entrepreneur, technologist, and event producer based in New York City. While serving as the NY Chapter Leader at Young Women Social Entrepreneurs, Hellen realized that there was a lack of emphasis on celebrating small victories. She wondered how accomplished individuals, including artists, entrepreneurs, scientists, and changemakers, were able to achieve their dreams. Hellen discovered that before these individuals became successful, they took small steps towards their goals.

In the spring of 2017, Hellen co-founded the Winning Women Series in collaboration with M.Gemi. Since its inception, the Winning Women Series has partnered with Tribeca Venture Partners, Spotify, HuffPost, and Microsoft. In 2020, the "My Health Matters" virtual summit was launched to support a growing community of young female physicians who were eager to provide communities with health resources during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I am a student of Global Health, a woman, and Black. I’ve dubbed myself #globalhealthmo and have been working on making my dreams reality. It’s really important to me that I’m knowledgeable on current health issues in my community, and in a space to share what I know. To broaden my network, I searched the hashtag epidemiologist on Instagram and somehow stumbled upon the My Health Matters Summit hosted by Winning Women Series. I was so excited to see the topics they planned to cover, and watched for the whole six hours. The conversations were genuine and informative. I have never been so inspired, and motivated to keep pushing in my studies. Those women were amazing, and I hope to be in their ranks soon."
